Dear GZ Advisor - Why does the guy I like treat me badly around his friends?

 

A lot of guys can change how they act when they are around their friends. They become insecure being the nice, sweet, guy who pays a lot of attention to you and feel the need to be "macho" and carefree. But no girl deserves to be treated poorly on random occasions. Try approaching him about it, asking him why he's being a jerk around his friends. If he's uncomfortable answering, you can tell him that he doesn't have to be super romantic around you in their presence but he has to at least treat you nicely, you don't deserve anything less than that.
