Mostly we really loved this movie.  We were worried that it would be too intense and depressing, but the approach was very viewer friendly for most teen girls.   It presented profiles and stories from different girls around the globe, highlighting a primary issue that is a problem for girls in that country.  It might be education, sexual violence, poverty, child brides,    The movie is narrated by celebrities you know like  Anne Hathaway, Selena Gomez and Alicia Keys.   Some in our group thought there was too much Hollywood thrown into the mix but most of liked that it made it more accessable and interesting.  The movie is also loaded with statistics and our group was split on whether the presentation was cheesy or right on.  Try to see this movie!
