It’s always hard to start a new workout routine. It never feels like the right time because there is always so much going on and you’re too busy or maybe a gym seems very expensive and you’re worried if you’ll go enough. There are just so many excuses! Studies have shown that one of the best ways to show up for those workouts is if you make them dates. Dates? Yes, exactly….find a like-minded friend and make plans to workout together. You get to catch up and socialize and you have the pressure of not wanting to stand them up! Win-win.

Here are my ten best tips for working out with a friend and creating a buddy system. But don’t be limited. Think outside the box and get creative.
